We’re researching a marketed medication to see if it can prevent migraine in people with major depressive disorder. Join us.

The UNITE study is evaluating an investigational drug called fremanezumab in adults with migraine and major depressive disorder (MDD). Fremanezumab is currently approved in several countries for the prevention of migraine, but it is not approved for treating MDD.

You may qualify to participate if you:
* Are 18 to 70 years of age
* Experience migraines, and:
- the migraines started before age 50
- have 4 or more migraine days within a month
* Are either not using or using no more than 1 migraine preventive medication (e.g., topiramate)
* Are diagnosed with moderate or severe Major Depressive Disorder for at least the past year. If taking medication for MDD, you must be on a stable dose for the last 2 months.

Other criteria will be reviewed to determine if you qualify for this study. Participation in the study will last approximately 7 months and will require about 6 visits to the research clinic. The study drug, clinic visits, laboratory tests, and procedures that are part of the study will be provided at no cost. You may also be compensated for your study-related travel expenses.

Migraine Long Term Safety Study

Biohaven Pharmaceuticals is studying the safety and tolerability of a new drug called zavagepant intranasal administration, for the acute treatment of migraine. If you are at least 18 years of age you may qualify.
Contact one of our research sites and find out if you qualify for a clinical research study. The investigational drug, plus all study-related assessments, will be provided at no cost to you.
Health insurance is not required to take part in this study and compensation for participation may also be provided

Who is this study for?

You may qualify for this study if you meet the following criteria:

- You must be 18 years and older.
- You must have at least 1-year history of migraine (with or without aura) including the following:
* Age of onset of migraines prior to 50 years of age.
* Migraine attacks, on average, lasting 4 - 72 hours if untreated.
* 2 -8 migraine attacks of moderate to severe intensity per month within the last 3 months prior to the screening visit.
* Ability to distinguish migraine attacks from tension/cluster headaches.
- The migraine study clinicians will assess your medical and migraine history to determine your eligibility.
