We are conducting the AMETHYST study, a clinical research study to investigate the safety and potential efficacy of an investigational drug, as compared to a placebo, in people with active CLE.
Are 18 years or older
Have specific types of CLE called subacute cutaneous lupus erythematosus (SCLE) or chronic cutaneous lupus erythematosus (CCLE)
Have previously discontinued antimalarial medicines due to poor tolerability or lack of response
Have at least one active lesion (a skin rash or skin sore)
Have been diagnosed with moderate-to-severe CLE for at least 6 months
